Jo finished 7th overall at the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, after a very up and down regatta...
She is now having a bit of a break from the Radial, and getting ready to go back to Uni next year to carry on her Engineering degree.
Having not quite placed where she wanted to, she is now even more determined to make it to London in 2012, and give it an even better shot.

So.. I am now back in NZ, got in yesterday on the team
flight.. Where there was a rather large mob of people waiting to see the
team, and the medalists...... more
OLYMPICS 2008 CAMPAIGN
Jo Aleh watched the 1995 America's Cup campaign and instantly with many other New Zealanders was inspired. Jo took this inspiration a step further by learning how to sail and since has become one of the best sailors in her class in the South Pacific.........more
